Kitchen Inferno 2014 and Jersey Cheshire Homes

The heat was certainly on when Margaret Thompson was invited to take part in Michelin starred Chef Shaun Rankin’s ‘Kitchen Inferno’ which was held at Highlands Academy Kitchen on 13^th November 2014.  The evening raised £17,000 for Jersey Cheshire Homes of which a staggering £10,000 was raised by the huge efforts of Margaret herself, who cooked up a storm with the red team.

16 novice chefs, who made up the red and blue teams were invited to compete in a head-to-head cook off.

The tension built as Shaun and 70 guests judged the battle between the teams, with the blue team winning by a hair’s breadth.
